 The team is confident of improving on the last nationals in 2012 when they won three out of seven matches and were a close second to NSW in the main event.

One of the most experienced shooters Erica Young is representing Queensland for the fourth time and previously shot for NSW while living in Armidale.

Erica shoots for University Rifle Club and graduated in veterinary science last year from the University of Queensland. She is now a practicing vet at Jimboomba.

She posted the highest individual score at the last nationals and has been a regular member of several Australian under 25 teams.

 

Toowoomba shooter Caleb Pearce takes winning form to Bendigo, having won the 2014 under 25 Club Champion of Champions trophy in Brisbane.

Adrian Robinson from Clermont who is in his third representative team will captain the Australian under 25 team at the world championships in the USA next year.

Nick Rees who will compete in his second nationals has moved from the Darling Downs to attend university and shoots with Natives Rifle Club.

Dean Enslin is also attending university in Brisbane and a member of Pacific Rifle Club. His parents Darren and Gillian Enslin from Appletree Creek near Childers, are both Australian representatives.

New to the 2014 team are Ryan Biss from Beaudesert and Ipswich Rifle Club member Patrick Mayfield.
