Clean sweep for city teams

Winning City Open team.Winning City Open team.City teams were convincing winners with a clean sweep over their country colleagues in the popular annual rivalry shoot held at Belmont at the weekend. (March 22-23).

City took the Open event with an aggregate of 3859 to 3767 and also won the two F Class team events.

Top individual score went to North Arm’s Colin Cole who posted a 198 in the four-range event.

Pittsworth Rifle Club member Ted Long is still doing his bit for the country shooting team at the age of 89.
